After a LONG LONG night (started at 9PM) of working on the sounds for Hamlet I was pretty happy. I was exhausted, looked quite ‘mad’ but it was totally worth it. I wanted this to be a blending of disjointed sounds. Some represent the character’s mental state, some their emotions or the feeling of the scene! I was lucky in that I got to sit with both Hamlet played by Matt de Rogatis and the Director Jay Michaels in order to get this just so.
